As most of you know - 2011 has been a year of great loss and challenges for us personally and for the ministry. We find ourselves knocked down BUT NOT KNOCKED OUT! We're more convinced than ever that God wants us living in our LifeBUILDERS community and ministering to the amazing folks He's called us to serve. Right now I am in a cast and in slow motion but we're still moving forward.
The Book Of Romans
DATE: Every Monday at 6:30
Monday evenings at 6:30 we are continuing with our study of the Book of Romans. All our welcome. This last Monday we all decided it was time to take the Good News to our community again. 20 of us went out in pairs and told people of the Good News of Jesus Christ and encouraged them to come and be a part of what God is doing at LifeBUILDERS. There was so much excitement when we all returned to share how God had worked that night. Alleluia.
Kidbuilders, 3D and H20 youth programs
Date: Tuesdays
Time: 3:30-8:00pm
Tuesday's are in full swing right now. Grades 1-5(Kidbuilders)meet at LifeBUILDERS from 3:30-5 and Grades 6-8(3D) and Grades 8-12(H20) meet from 6:30-8 at both LifeBUILDERS and Chandler Park Academy(CPA)The partnership with CPA affords us the opportunity to have our full program on one night, have all of us in close proximity with each other and have the opportunity to utilize other CPA resources. With over 20 volunteers on most Tuesday’s providing meals, small group leadership, security and transportation it is a very exciting night around our community.
H20 Teen Retreat Recap
DATE: February 25
A group of 12 teens and 4 adults will be venturing off to Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference Center in Muskegon, Michigan. This is our first teen retreat and it will be led by Aaron Robinson. We have entitled this first retreat ”Eclipse: its between You and me God“ Aaron has been a youth leader for years and has a real passion for these kids. He has ministered to teens in several venues around the Midwest.
