On October 9th at 6 p.m. LifeBUILDERS started an evening worship service led by nationally recognized worship leader, Marcus Cole.  Since the beginning of LifeBUILDERS we have felt that there was a need for a worship service and music ministry opportunities for our youth

Monday evenings at 6:30 we are studying the Book of Hebrews.  All are welcome. Come join us. It’s been a rich time together in God’s Word. Call 313-434-2868 if you have any questions.

Tuesday's are in full swing right now.  Grades 1-5(Kidbuilders)meet at LifeBUILDERS from 3:30-5 and Grades 6-8(3D) and Grades 8-12(H20) meet from 6:30-8  at both LifeBUILDERS and Chandler Park Academy(CPA)The partnership with CPA affords us the opportunity to have our full program on one night, have all of us in close proximity with each other and have the opportunity to utilize other CPA resources. With over 20 volunteers on most Tuesday’s providing meals, small group leadership, security and transportation it is a very exciting night around our community.

A group of 12 teens and 4 adults will be venturing off to Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference Center in Muskegon, Michigan. This is our first teen retreat and it will be led by Aaron Robinson.  We have entitled this first retreat ”Eclipse: its between You and me God“  Aaron has been a youth leader for years and has a real passion for these kids.  He has ministered to teens in several venues around the Midwest.

We will be studying the Gospel of Mark for the next 12 weeks. All are welcome. Just come on out as we grow together in our faith in the Lord Jesus. There is still time to join. Kidbuilders/H20 started up on January 4^th with the usual excitement in the neighborhood. We thank Pastor Scott Benjamin for making his church available to us again this year.  We also thank all the volunteers from Karen, Shirely, Danielle, Linda, Rene, Barbara D, Dan, Don, Connie, Marc, Betty, Ken, Marilyn, Barbara P, Mekeba, Mona, Angela, Cris, Larry….and all those who bring meals on Tuesday nights. It’s just amazing to see what’s happening in the hearts and lives of our children and teens. What a privilege.
