We will begin with hors d'oeuvres and a museum tour (optional) from 6:00-6:45pm.
Dinner will be served promptly at 6:45pm followed by a special program in the museum auditorium at 7:30-8:15pm.

Roop Raj - 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm anchor at FOX 2 News.
Roop’s career started at age 14 when he produced and hosted his own television program in Troy, Michigan. At 19, he was hired at CBS and ABC stations in Lansing, Michigan. He was then hired to anchor the news in Flint, Michigan, followed by seven years at NBC in New Orleans. After 24 hurricanes, including Katrina, Roop moved to Detroit in 2009 where an economic storm was brewing. He is an ardent believer in the city’s future. Roop is a public speaking coach, working with executives on the art of storytelling. From the FBI to Honda, top level brass at numerous organizations have tapped into his “Secrets to Storytelling” seminar. He’s also a keynote speaker. At TEDxDetroit, he headlined with his talk highlighting the gifts of rejection. In his spare time, Roop enjoys cooking, traveling and reading. He lives with wife, Julie, and their boxer pup Louise.
