Summer Ministry Recap
We want to report to you how your investment in the lives of the people of Regent Park through the work of LifeBUILDERS has prospered in the Summer of 2021.
You may follow us on Facebook and Instagram and already know some of these things, but here’s a quick recap of what happened here in the community over the past several months!
2021 Summer Day Camp
We hosted our 4-week Summer Day Camp outside! The theme was the gospel of Jesus Christ, and we had multiple children accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Youth employment program
We provided 15 teens were summer jobs, where they were able to earn money working as they received intentional discipleship and job-coaching from their supervisors.
Summer Interns
Danielle, Gabe, and Jeremiah from The Moody Bible Institute joined us this summer to provide leadership for our summer youth programs!
Flag football League
We brought back our Flag Football League in partnership with Positive You. Players were able to make new friendships and grow in their physical health, all while receiving spiritual discipleship and mentoring from our coaches!
Home Ownership Center Grand opening
We had the grand opening of our Home Ownership Center where we are providing education and resources for residents who are looking to become homeowners!
