Summer Youth Employment Program

*YOU MUST LIVE IN WAYNE COUNTY OR ATTEND SCHOOL IN WAYNE COUNTY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT*

Who: Local High School Students (Ages 15-19) Applicants MUST be 15 to apply!

When: June 8th - Aug 7th

Where: LifeBUILDERS Ministry Center (16435 E 8 Mile Road)

LifeBUILDERS Summer Youth Employment is a program that seeks to bring resources and opportunities to the youth of Detroit!

The program teaches them how to apply for a job and conduct themselves professionally, working with kids within our Summer Day Camp program, and also providing them hands-on experience with physical labor. The labor they’re assigned to is all labor that helps to beautify and remove blight within Regent Park.

They are paid hourly throughout the program and are taught financial skills such as opening a bank account and budgeting their income.

Applications are open! Interviews will be based on time of submission and involvement in LifeBUILDERS programming! Get them in ASAP! Applications will close on April 24th!
